This Ethics session will highlight the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct and Colorado Bar Association Formal Opinions that are implicated in many of the events of 2020, including the impact of the COVID pandemic, the Black Lives Matter protests, and the Colorado Bar Association’s commitment to including equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) CLE requirements.
Topics will include ethical considerations regarding: increased worker dispersion and remote working, the use of contract attorneys, law firm culture, implicit bias, sexual harassment, and pro bono services.
