As the world begins to look beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, the landscape for many commercial real estate projects will be permanently altered. While 2020 included many short-term loan modifications intended to address the immediate impact of the pandemic, many lenders and borrowers must now confront the long-term economic consequences to their real estate projects and how they affect loan performance.
